    • May: The official roster of members in good standing is published in national newspapers prior to the launch of the annual Accountants’ Week celebrations.

💼 Practising Certificate Renewals
    • September: Demand notices for the renewal of public practicing certificates are formally issued.
    • January: Fresh practicing licenses are officially processed and distributed to qualified practitioners.
    • April: An updated registry of certified practicing accountants is officially shared with structural regulatory authorities, including:
        • Commercial Banks and financial institutions
        • Ghana Revenue Authority (formerly IRS)
        • National Insurance Commission (NIC)
        • Registrar General’s Department

The Member Services Department maintains the central, authoritative national database of all chartered accounting and auditing firms operating across the country.
To be accurately cataloged in this registry, a completed firm registration form must definitively provide the following structural details:
    • Leadership Roles: The full, verified name of the designated Managing Partner.
    • Partnership Structure: Full names of all other active Partners associated with the firm (where applicable).
    • Firm Location: Precise physical operating location and the formal postal address of the firm’s main office.
    • Core Offerings: The complete profile and scope of professional service offerings provided by the firm.
    • Succession Planning: Formal documentation outlining the continuing partnership and operational survival arrangements.
