Practising License Requirements

Good Standing

The applicant must be a member in continuous good standing with the Institute.

Experience Duration

A minimum of four (4) years of overall practical experience is required, including at least two (2) years of post-qualification experience.

Supervised References

Designators or referees must be active members in public practice who have directly worked with or supervised the applicant’s professional work.

Local vs. Foreign Experience Tracks

With Foreign Firm Experience

Members who have gained practical experience with a foreign accounting and auditing firm while abroad are required to complete at least two (2) years of practical experience with a local accounting and auditing firm.

Without Foreign Firm Experience

Members with no prior experience at a foreign accounting and auditing firm are required to complete the full four (4) years of practical experience with a local accounting and auditing firm.
