About the Journal

The Journal of Accounting, Auditing, Tax and Management (JAATM) is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG).

JAATM welcomes original articles advancing knowledge in accounting, auditing, taxation, management and related interdisciplinary areas including finance, economics, law and information systems.

As ICAG's flagship publication, the journal connects rigorous academic research with professional insights from the accounting, advisory and management fields. Collaborative work between researchers and practitioners is highly encouraged.

Accepted papers that further intellectual progress are published in upcoming journal issues on a rolling basis.

Submission Guidelines

JAATM accepts original research article submissions on a rolling basis throughout the calendar year.

Authors must create a user profile and submit their manuscript together with a title page through the journal's online submission system. Manuscripts should comply with the author formatting guidelines provided on the journal website.

1. SubmitCreate a profile and submit your manuscript and title page online.
2. Peer ReviewQualifying articles are sent to 2–3 expert referees for double-blind peer review, typically within 4–6 weeks.
3. Final DecisionThe final acceptance decision is made in approximately 8–10 weeks after submission.
No publication fee: JAATM currently does not charge an article processing or publication fee. Papers found suitable may undergo 1–2 rounds of revision before professional copyediting and publication.
